With her star on the rise, alt-pop singer-songwriter Carlie Hanson is the muse and face of DC Shoes' Fall 2020 Women's Campaign. Hanson has had a massive couple of years, from being playlisted by Taylor Swift to touring with Troye Sivan, Yungblud and, recently performing live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Hanson's rapid ascent is a sure bet thanks to her skilled lyricism, star-power personality and, the close connection with her fans.
Shot in the Californian desert, the campaign sees the 19-year-old hitmaker style DC's fall looks in her signature tough-pretty tomboy lean. Having a had a long history with the brand, the alignment felt like a natural fit, Hanson grew up wearing DC Shoes throughout her childhood and teens in her native Wisconson.
Now located in Los Angeles, Hanson is back in the studio filming music videos and dropping singles. Her new single, the emotive anthem Good Enough follows a string of releases in 2020 including the melancholic Stealing all my Friends and killer track Daze Inn and, let's not forget 2019's viral hit Side Effects.

ABOUT DC SHOES
When DC launched in 1994, it was a profound disruption to the skateboarding industry—a juxtaposition of skateboarding, music, art, and streetwear with oversized confidence, style, and performance. DC established itself with groundbreaking product and an unmatched roster of team-riders who lived and breathed the brand ethos. DC helped shape modern collaboration culture by pioneering partnerships with the likes of Supreme, FTP, Shepard Fairey, and Buscemi. In 2020, DC continues to push the envelope by collaborating with bold brands like 40s & Shorties and Paterson.
