DC Shoes is back in the mix with Butter Goods for their second collaboration with the Australian brand. This time around DC worked with the Perth-based apparel brand on a technical skate collection featuring two of their most coveted Heritage styles and a full apparel selection.
Inspired by 90s and Y2K skate aesthetics, the entire collection features elevated tech and athletic detailing. An underground skate favorite, the customized Lukoda OG is clad in an outdoor boot-inspired colorway with elastic laces. Butter also put a unique spin on the iconic Kalis OG with a custom bungee/toggle lace system. The tech continues on the all-weather apparel, highlighted by a windbreaker with zip-off sleeves and convertible cargo pants that zip off at the knee. The collection is rounded out by a co-branded sweatshirt, tee, and bucket hat.

Butter Goods co-founder, Garth Mariano, explained the inspiration for the collection: “We wanted to create something that was inspired by the era we grew up skating in. It would have blown our minds to tell our 14-year-old selves that we would be working with DC, so I wanted to do something our 14-year-old selves would have been most hyped on.”
To support the collection, DC and Butter’s shared team riders put together a skate edit. Fittingly filmed entirely in Philadelphia on the nostalgia-inducing VX1000, the edit features Shaun Paul, Aleka Lang, Adilson Pedro, Josh Kalis, and more.
The limited DC Shoes X Butter Goods Collection will be available on November 19, 2022 at dcshoes.com and select retailers.
