The DC Shoes collaboration with KIDILL at the PFW23 is a nostalgic throwback and an ode to 90s fashion, teen movie aesthetics, and skateboarding culture.
DC Shoes marked its presence at the Paris Fashion Week as it joined forces with Japanese menswear brand KIDILL. DC Shoes x KIDILL FW23 Collection was titled 'Enfants Terribl' and debuted in the Fall/Winter Collection 2023. The runway saw European skateboarders act as models in the show, skating down the runaway teens gone rogue with a strong 80's punk rock rebellion.

Hiroaki Suiyasu, the artistic director for KIDILL said that collaborating with DC SHOES and DC skaters led him to connect with his core and bring out an old-school, DIY-style skateboarding vibe to the designs. The entire collection is inspired by teen movies and skateboarding culture.
DC Shoes is a noughties juggernaut skate brand revered by skateboarders and sneaker-heads for its iconic 90s and 2000s footwear silhouettes. The brand's collaboration with KIDILL is a tribute to creative self expression and DIY culture.

'Enfants Terribl' collection is punk, cool, and as much as it's reminiscent of a rebellious teen, a look further into the designs exhibits the idea of maturity and growth. The collection featured contrasting prints, knit, denim, plaid, and premium finish fabrics, Dries Van Noten- inspired prints, punk and street-inspired embellishments, floral prints, and relaxed hems.

Hiroaki Suiyasu also looks back and takes inspiration from his personal favourite Danny Boyle, Spikze Jonze, Harmony Korine’s movies and Z-boys’s documentary for this designs of this collection.
