Inspired by the golden era of skateboarding, rap and pop culture, independent streetwear brand Cash Only started dropping products in 2018 after trading as a distribution company for several years. Inspired by the days when Cash was indeed king, Cash Only tributes to the period before smartphones and YouTube, when the pants were big, dreams were even bigger, and the only way to experience a city and scene was to travel to it physically.

DC Shoes, a brand synonymous with skateboarding's golden era, when baggy jeans reigned supreme, was the logical partner for a footwear collaboration, and the Cash Only Lynx design is inspired by Cash Only's infamous 'jorts' (denim shorts) with denim and leather detailing and woven embroidery.
