For over four decades, Slayer's unholy soundtrack has been synonymous with pushing against authority and defying convention, and now their raw energy is set to infuse the world of skateboarding.
Since its inception, Slayer has been the unapologetic fathers of speed metal, igniting hearts and souls with their intense and relentless sound. Their music has transcended boundaries, exciting, entertaining, and energizing not only music enthusiasts but also the skateboarding community from day one.

Slayer’s music and skateboarding have always shared a common spirit of rebellion and a drive to challenge the status quo, this collaboration is a celebration of that shared ethos, and we're thrilled to merge Slayer's iconic legacy with DC Shoes' innovative designs.

About Slayer
In January 2018, thrash titans SLAYER devastated metalheads across the globe, announcing they were calling it a day, along with a mammoth final world tour that launched on May 10, 2018, in San Diego, CA. By the time the 18-month, seven-leg, 152-show tour wrapped on November 29, 2019, at the Los Angeles Forum, Slayer had said farewell to fans in 30 countries over five continents. After 37 years, 12 studio releases, five GRAMMY nominations, and two wins, an abundance of Gold albums, multitudes of magazine covers, and other recognitions, Slayer's place in music history was secure. As one of The Big Four (alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax), Slayer helped define the thrash-metal genre. Even among peers of that quality, Slayer still proudly stands alone and remains one of the most influential bands in heavy metal history. With Tom Araya's unmistakable vocals, Kerry King and Gary Holt's slaughtering guitar riffs, Paul Bostaph's hostile drums, and nasty-as-fuck lyrics until the band’s final concert performance on Saturday, November 28, 2019, Slayer continued to whip its fans into anarchistic, antichrist-fueled frenzies unmatched by any other act on the planet. Not many bands can add to their resume having been banned from the Hollywood Palladium and Madison Square Garden for twenty-five years. Long live Slayer. slayer.net
